If you’re visiting Port St. Lucie any time from mid-February through late March, you’re arriving during Mets season — and we don’t mean the regular one. Clover Park has been the New York Mets’ spring training home for decades, and it’s one of the most relaxed, affordable ways to see Major League talent up close.

Why spring training is worth it

Tickets are a fraction of regular-season prices, the stadium is small enough that there’s genuinely no bad seat, and players are noticeably more accessible — autographs and photos happen along the rail in a way that just doesn’t at a full-size ballpark. It’s also a great option for families; the relaxed atmosphere means kids can move around without disturbing anyone.

  • Games typically run late February through the end of March
  • Tickets go on sale in advance — worth booking ahead for weekend games
  • Arrive early for batting practice, often the best photo opportunity

Clover Park is a short drive from most of our Port St. Lucie properties, making it easy to combine a day game with a pool afternoon either side. If you’re planning a spring visit around baseball, let us know — we’re always happy to point you toward the quieter home games if you’d rather skip the crowds.
