Of all the beaches on the Treasure Coast, Jensen Beach Park is the one we recommend most often โ€” not just for the amenities, but for the sunrise. Facing east on the Atlantic, it’s one of the best spots on the whole coast to watch the sky turn from grey to gold, often with pelicans skimming low across the water on their morning fishing runs.

Why go early

  • Parking is easy and free spots are plentiful before mid-morning
  • The beach is noticeably quieter, even in peak season
  • Cooler temperatures make an early walk far more comfortable than midday
  • The Sand Dune Cafรฉ opens early for coffee afterward

What’s there

Officially named Jensen Sea Turtle Beach, the park has picnic pavilions, volleyball courts, restrooms, and showers โ€” a genuinely complete setup for a full beach day once the sun’s fully up. But if you only make it out once during your stay for sunrise, this is the spot we’d send you to.
